Digital working alongside its audience

In the digital space, advertising success comes from being where people are and working with what they’'re already doing, rather than relying on them to visit you - that’'s where this simple but effective digital campaign for Snickers started - thinking of all the times that Google efficiently corrects our spelling when we type into its ubiquitous search box.

Snickers used Google technology to select misspellings of the most commonly searched terms. Each time someone misspelt a word they were given a tailored message to "“Grab yourself a Snikkers”" as "“Yu cant spel properlie wen hungrie."” Without seeding, it reached over 500,000 people within three days of launch.
